Advanced CommonLook® Section 508 for Adobe® Acrobat®

1 Day.

There will be a 30 minute break for lunch and two 10-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon periods.

Audience

This course is intended for advanced CommonLook users who are familiar with basic PDF accessibility concepts and with CommonLook functionality.

It is recommended that users attending this course have at least 3 months of CommonLook remediation experience.

Description

The course involves hands-on instruction dealing with the following topics.

  • Splitting Text Runs
  • Dealing with tables spanning multiple pages
  • Dealing with Complex Tables
  • Redesigning Tables for Accessibility in PDF
  • Inserting/Replacing/Removing Pages in PDF
  • Tagging Links
  • Forms - Dealing with Radio buttons
  • Tagging Lists

In addition to the above topics, students often bring up other topics dealing with their individual experience in remediating PDF documents.
